Heather Schuch

Heather Schuch has built a phenomenal career at Steelcase, Inc. Her tenure with the company includes having positions within Finance, IT, and now Procurement. Her insights, expertise, and creativity give the business clarity to help fulfill its goals. Heather’s work has impacted multiple departments including Sales, Quality, Procurement, etc. She thrives when creating reports, due to how it helps people understand the data in order to make sound business decisions. Today, Heather is a Leader on the Procurement Analytics Team. She leads the structuring of the procurement data by ensuring it is global, accurate, and comprehensive. The data is then used to make business decisions through comprehensive reports created with SAP Business Warehouse and Tableau (a data visualization software). In her previous role, Heather had worked on the Business Intelligence team in charge of rolling out Tableau to multiple departments within Steelcase. She was the Community of Practice (CoP) Lead and Admin for Tableau during this time. She has also worked in multiple Finance roles during her career. Heather was selected to join the Heart of West Michigan United Way’s Women United Advisory Committee. Women United is dedicated to empowering and enhancing the lives of women and girls in our community with confidence, resources, and skills to achieve their life goals. Outside of work, she enjoys hanging out with her family, volunteering, and golfing & playing softball during the summer.
